Appointment of Acting Registrar, Supreme Court
Mr Foo Chee Hock has been appointed as the Acting Registrar, Supreme Court with effect from 11 April 2008.
Mr Foo joined the Supreme Court on 1 May 2001 as the Deputy Registrar, Supreme Court. Mr Foo attained his LLB from the National University of Singapore in 1984. In 1989, he received his LLM from Queen’s College, University of Cambridge. Throughout his 25-year career with the Legal Service, Mr Foo assumed various postings with the Ministry of Law’s Appeals Board (Land Acquisition) and the Legal Aid Bureau. Prior to joining the Supreme Court, Mr Foo was a District Judge at the Subordinate Courts.
