Singapore To Host International Legal Conference
Singapore will host Asia's largest ever international legal conference from October 14 to 19 - the International Bar Association 2007 Annual Conference. More than 3,300 delegates from over 120 countries are expected to attend with at least 600 delegates from Southeast Asia.
There will be over 150 sessions during the week-long event, which will be held at Suntec Singapore. Some topics to be discussed include key challenges facing international business lawyers who conduct cross-border transactions, especially in Asia.
The conference will be opened by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.
