Law Society of Singapore launches PrimeLaw
On 11 December 2003, the Law Society of Singapore launched its very own Practice Management Excellence mark, PrimeLaw, at the Oriental Hotel.
It is a business tool developed by the Law Society of Singapore to address the business needs of law firms in Singapore. PrimeLaw is modelled to help over 80% of the legal practices in Singapore which are small businesses. It is modified from Lexcel, the voluntary Practice Management Standrard of the Law Society of England & Wales.
The launch of the Standard itself is expected sometime mid-2004.
