The Accountants (Amendment) Bill 2006 Introduced
The Accountants (Amendment) Bill 2006 was introduced in Parliament on 17 Janaury 2006.
The Explanatory Statement to the Bill states:
This Bill seeks to amend the Accountants Act (Cap. 2) —
(a) to enable public accountants to provide public accountancy services in
Singapore through accounting limited liability partnerships (accounting
LLPs) and to provide for a Register of Public Accounting Limited Liability
Partnerships in respect of such accounting LLPs; and
(b) to make other miscellaneous amendments.
