Copyright Anti-Circumvention Measures

The Copyright (Excluded Works) Order 2005 has been introduced to provide for exemptions of certain works for which circumvention activity is beneficial.
These are works involving compilations of lists of blocked Internet sites (but not antivirus or anti-spam computer programs), computer programmes with obsolete or damaged dongles, computer programmes or games which are distributed in obsolete formats and cannot be used otherwise than with the original hardware, literary works in e-book format for reading and used by special needs users.
